I've just finished compiling a table of all the squad numbers Tottenham Hotspur FC have used since their introduction in season 1993-94 to date.

There's far too much information to allow me to post it on here but you'll be able to see the table if you click the link below...

...I'm sure there might be some corrections which need to be made, so please tell me if you see any.

Perhaps you would like to nominate your favourite Spurs player for every shirt number?

Anyway, enjoy your trip down memory lane!

Looking back 6+ years it is amazing to look at the difference in quality players we attract now. It is back to how it should be.

Philip Ifil is possibly the worst product of Spurs Academy ever.

Ifil was talented, just far too small and didn't develop from his teen years.

    Nethercott was dire.

    Blondel is still only 26.

    I couldn't agree more.

There's been a quantum leap forward in the depth of quality of our playing squad in the past few seasons.

the thing that made the biggest impression upon me, as i undertook this little exercise ... y'know, thinking of how much you liked/disliked players at the time, as opposed to how you feel about them in retrospect ... is the #5.

i phookin' loved sol campbell at spurs.

... i don't love him now, by the way.

Campbell was an amazing player, which is why it hurt so much....
He's probably in the top 20-30 players ever.

Look at the 2000 squad. If the current First XI played them it'd be about 14-3, with Taricco getting a hat-trick for the 2000 lot.

The team starts to come good around 07-08, then motors forward in 08-09.
