Amazing.... Out of season matches on foreign continents are shown here in the USA yet regular league matches can't be bothered to be shown on Comcast.. I'll have the VCR running for this one...
The difference is what gets pre-empted for the game. FSW didn't have anything to show other than a repeat of a Brazilian match, whereas Comcast, on a 7:30 on a Saturday, more than likely has the Orioles. In other words, for FSW the Spurs v. DCU match is seen as a coup, whereas for Comcast it's less revenue.
Hmmm, I wonder if he'll show the replay on Friday night? Any chance of that you think? I'd be up for attending that one if anybody else were interested? -Tron

One thing - when you call Summers, please see if you can get them to show a replay Thursday evening, say 6 or 7 or so. I'm certain this would make for easier viewing for a bunch of us. Thanks!
I heard a terrible rumor a couple of weeks ago that Comcast DC was going to be dropping FSW on the 17th of October. I'm planning on switching to DirecTV anyways (no StarPower in my 'hood), but to yank my FSW the day of the Spurs game would be the ultimate f-you from the spunkwads at Comcast. I really hate Comcast. Wankers. Anyone know if they actually are dropping FSW on the 17th?
True, but that has nothing to do with it. If United played all of its games on Thursday afternoon, I'm pretty sure Comcast would carry more of them. Nobody would show up, but at least they'd be on TV, right?
Not likely, they have to show the World's Strongest Man or Fishing with Bill France or something else since we don't merit ratings. Besides my shot was at Comcast over the No FSW policy they have.
