Oh man... this guy is awesome... I have no idea if his skills have gone down with age, but I've seen him play in Spain many times.

Yes he is Spanish and he has even been capped a few times, in the time when Sergi was a fixture!!

BTW, he comes from Real Madrid's youth system. But he was blocked by Lasa first and then Roberto Carlos, who I think is a little better than him. :)

It would be a great pickup and would love to see two Spaniards in the team. And think of this Torres an ex-Real Madrid and Mario and ex-Barcelona.. pretty damn impressive... I'm loving Bradley already.

Where does that leave the Orlando "Flaco" Perez back to Metros rumor?

If we sign mestre and keep addo i think it will be unlikely for perez to come back, but if addo leaves maybe bradley will pick up perez.

Who is next? Maybe Morientes as he is not happy in Madrid. haha. I tthink these Spaniards might actually be able to help the Metros. Won't do much to increase attendance, but might help the team.

I really hate ethnic pandering. MLS is notorious for this but seems to be slowly getting away from it. Bottom line is that a winning team will put @sses in the seats! Enough of "we have to have a Mexican in L.A., a Colombian in NY, Polish in Chicago"!

I am not on favor of ethnic pandering myself. I think it is time the league get away from that. Consider the attendance remark just a case of me thinking to myself.

Ethnic pandering HASN'T even done anything for our attendance. When was the last time you saw anyone go to a game cause Valencia, Alvarez, Comas, or anyone else for that matter, was playing? You really think they brought in 3K-5K extra people? More like 20 extra people and that's because it was their family on vacation in NYC.

I like these moves, I really do. Diminutive Spaniards vs. Hairy Bulgarians! Let's have at it!

Let me clearup my statement once and for all. I was not , I repeat not talking about ethnic pandering. I was simple thinking to myself that the Spaniards in our area still will not go out to see the Metros play like they did when Madrid played Roma. That is what I meant.
