According to news reports, he spit at a Firpo fan who was heckling him.

He's certainly dark-skinned, but no more so than some other players. But if that's the reason, why "El Black" then, rather than "El Negro" or "El Moreno"?

I see we're taking after UEFA and making the defending champions enter the qualifying rounds as well. Poor Saprissa.

I saw the game but I dint see him spit, I did see him talking to a fan and trying to give him a hand shake and then after that they kicked him out. Its bad because he will have to miss the following game in Guatemala.

Antonio Alzamendi is no longer the head coach of Comunicaciones, he quit earlier today after the game against Marquense. This will be interesting, this might be good or bad for Tuesday's game against firpo.

I actually have to disagree with you. I thought Firpo had a worst chance of making it past the first round. Now that they have advanced, without losing a game mind you, I think they will make it past the next round. I just don't think the two teams they might face are as good as Comunicaciones.

I watched the game, and yeah they were dominated, but also held on to the ball for quite a while and both goals were really pretty man. Specially the "bailarina" spin one. It could have been 3-2, if that one guy didn't try to be cute with the ball and just shot the damn thing. He tried to get the sombrerito and just lobbed it to the portero.

Hearing the "El Salvador" chants was cool... But it's sad that in an away game, the visiting inchas are the only ones that get heard... Sad for Guatemala anyway.

Oh btw, I am an Alianza fan, and when this thing is over is back to hatin' Firpo and Fas.. lol

PS: Btw, I don't know that if "El Black" talk was in this thread or not but.. That guy is not black.. He looks like the average Salvadorean.. Wish we had some Firpo fans online so they could explain that nick name.

Iam dissapointed, with all those players Comunicaciones had to get pass firpo easily and at least be in the final, but it dint happen. In todays game Suchitepequez advanced to the next round by defeating Diriangen of Nicaragua 2-0. Suchi will face Olimpia in the next round, thats going to be a good game.

Comunicaciones has named Luis Cubilla(Uru) head coach earlier today, I think a new coach was needed way before the UNCAF began not after they got eliminated.

    tuesday

    alajuela 6-0 placencia

    last night

    Saprissa 0-0 FAS

I went to the game...not a very good game, FAS played to not lose, mad reputation for the TurbaRoja, FAS fans, they showed there , they were like 100 guys, chanting the whole game, obviosuly i was in la sur with the Saprissa fans, but i still want to congratulate them, even after the game they kept chanting, i guess a 0-0 draw @ Saprissa´s is a good thing for them

FAS murieron con las botas puestas, felicitaciones, suerte en su toreneo local y en el proximo ano

Lo Triste es que Firpo esta jugando como que si ellos fueran los campeones. They are representing the country better, albeit, against a lesser opponent, than the champions.
