I think Mexico and portugal are going to go on, mexico has improved alot and there not just some any team anymore, they had a great Confederations cup, and i think they got what it takes to take down any country and win the World cup!

    doesnt anyone agree?

I do agree..but it has alot to do with the mentality that Mexico will have in the tournament.

Mexico will not receive more than 2 goals in Group Play....the better poll is which striker(s) will score on Mexico?

Finally, Mexico doesn't have any killer forwards but EVERY player on the field can & has scored big goals.

    more like 5 games...

he has 2 goals and 3 assists in 5 games this season..and mind you he didnt start any of them.

he hasnt come close to playing 20 games yet :p

and bolton seem to be doing jsut fine with a 19 year old portugeuse striker  , unbelievable aint it.

I was talking about Davies, the guy who is ahead of both Vaz Te and Borgetti. By the way Borgetti doesn't have to shabby of a mark, he has scored when given the chance. But like I said there is not much that can be done when the coach is playing favorites or happens to think that a forwards priority should be to do something other than to score.

Between Borgetti and Pauleta, and I had to go with Pauleta just because Borgetti hasn't played all that much as of late.

haha, he does always seem to score goals on deflections for some reason at Barça. It's quite funny actually.

what club does Borgetti play for now, is it Bolton? how many games has he played in this season, how many goals has he scored so far this season?

how many Mexican players play abroad, either in Europe or Argentina/Brazil, not interested in smaller leagues?

Why should Mexican players play abroad! The Money and Competion is great in the Mexican league.

I'd say Pauleta. He has been one of the most consistent goal-scorers in all of Europe in the past 5 years. He doesnt get much press because he plays in France, but he's top class, even at 32.

What worries us the most is his lack or speed and ability NOT to show up for big games and tournament...

I like Nuno Gomes better, he is so clutch, but I will still support Pauleta.

    Stryker.

    He won't.

He's already setting up the safety blanket for failure.

    It's how he operates.

But, yeah, your nation's team is sh!t.

    Good call, Pedro.

2 goals or less in group play.

2nd round elimination for the 4th straight World Cup.

Even though I predict a 3 and out situation, where our beloved coach doesn't manage a single victory.

    South Africa, here we come.
