    If VWFC beat the CCFC on Apr-8, their SS lead will be extended to 5 points,
    thus guaranteeing another week at the top of both standings.

    Best of luck...!! :)

    Despite a tie and a loss in Week #6, VWFC still remain at the top of the West and SS Standings by 3 point margin.

    Should they manage at least a point in Week #7 vs RSL on the road, they will remain 1st for another week, extending the Club Record for tenure at the Top to 3 weeks. ;)

    (Unless NER manage to win their 2 games this week)

    Keep it up... :thumbsup::thumbsup:

    4th. We have a better team than last year but only a bit better. When compared to LA, Seattle and Dallas we don't measure up.

    the caps have the players and coaches to make it into the top 3 in the west conference- down the middle- the strength of any team- the caps are strong- ousted, waston, teibert, laba, morales (at home!!) and rivero
    they also have good bench strength when injuries and gold cup games come

    if 1 other player beyond rivero can get us 10 goals, then we are in the running to be a dark horse for the MLS Cup

    Vancouver will remain at the top of the West and Overall for the 4th straight week (since Week #5), if they do not lose to DCU; and FCD do no win this week.

    Best of Luck!! :thumbsup::)

    Top of the league through Week #8 (& 8.5 in fact), before Dallas take over later (now leading 4-1 after 90 mins) at the start of Week #9.

    VWFC can still regain Top Spot with a road win over Portland tomorrow. ;)

    our lack of goal scoring in the last 4 games is becoming a pattern- 11 goals in 9 games wont keep you near the top- our goal scoring champ- rivero- hasnt scored in 3 straight games and no other player, beyond 2 goals from mattocks in 4 games, is really helping out- and we know that darren's scoring spells quickly become a fleeting memory

    to me, our MF is still our weakness (dont get me started on kah as a CD) as they are not springing the passes/set pieces to get the strikers free in good scoring positions; morales is totally ineffective on road games and his game is- at best- 50% as to what he is at home games- to me, its the greatest mystery of the team, although some would argue that a terrific home record in 2014 is no longer true for 2015 (8/15 points); our road game through some luck and good play has been very rewarding (3/4 wins)

    this is a team still trying to define itself, play consistently, find a player that can lead the team at home and away (it might be our goalie, ousted who could become a very good captain- can a goalie be a captain??), settle in a suitable CD beside waston and begin to score more goals by using all our speed to our advantage and get the ball to rivero in good scoring positions

    having said all that, this is a team that can reach near the top level by 2016 and should make the playoffs in #3-5 position in 2015; outside of letting CD andy obrien leave and signing the hazard-in-waiting, kah has been the only mistake that coach robinson has made with his signings- we can do some good things this year, but from 2016-2018, this is a team that could become one of the best in MLS
