Clearly for me it would be USA vs Mexico. USA had nearly a decade run without a home loss to Mexico. The 2002 world cup and 2007 Gold Cup finals were the two biggest matches. USA still can't win at Azteca and that doesn't look to be changing anytime soon. Lately Mexico has won a couple on US soil, including a 5-0 pasting in the 2009 Gold Cup. I'm curious to who the other concacaf nations view as their main rival. I'd guess for Canada it would be the USA although we really don't see them as a rival given they haven't beaten us since 1986. Costa Rica vs Honduras? Jamaica vs T&T? What do you guys think?
Costa Rica Vs Honduras is always a good one. and Mexico Vs Costa Rica is prolly our 2nd biggest rivalry
Honduras vs Costa Rica one of the best. back & forth wins on each soil. its called the central american classic for a reason but many ppl overlook it & just focus on mex vs usa
your in the wrong website then my favorite rivalry...Honduras vs. Mexico. theres always bad blood between us. I also like Honduras vs. Costa Rica. always a free flowing game and you can see the urgency to score!!
Sorry, I thought I was in Bigbaseball.com Nah, Dominicans don't really box, and if they do, aren't that great.
In any sport, I agree. DR, TT, Cuba, Jamaica. Like Mexico & Honduras, PR have the same rivality against DR.
The day Nicaragua gets a decent team it will be Nicaragua Costa Rica, it´ll easily trump USA vs. Mexico. Quote me on that.
Bigtime, along with immigration problems worse than Mexico and the USA. I also saw Real Esteli (one of Nicaragua´s big clubs) play Saprissa a few years ago and the atmosphere was very hostile.
When I was in CR I saw all cheap labor was from Nicaragua, and Costa Ricans were pissed they were working for a lot less.
Yeah, the whole thing is really a shame. 25% people in Costa Rica are foreigners and not everyone is happy about it.
There are a lot of Americans and Canadians there also. They seem to be starting a lot of businesses which was good. But, if they hire all foreigners, it does the Ticos no good. I remember the cabbies all being Colombian.
