I have been posting this question everywhere on different countries. I would like to know what South American and Argentine considered the best 10 Argentine players in history regardless of position.

The obvious ones I supposed will be Maradona, Kempes, Batigoal, etc?

    How about Passarella, Pertuma, Varallo???

    1. Maradona - Obvious choice.

    2. Di Stefano - Superb career in Europe. His honours and records with Real Madrid speak for themselves.

    3. Passarella - A unique defender and leader. Impressive scoring record as well. Top 3 all-time defender in the world.

    4. Batistuta - The best finisher in the world for a number of years, but his choice of clubs probably hampered him a little. What he didn't win in silverware, he sure won in hearts around the world.

    5. Kempes - WC hero 78 and a good finisher with some successful seasons in Spain.

Saja was golden that night, and the losers in the tribune were not. Thats not cool what they were doing.

But its not like SL played a hell of a game. All of their goals were ugly.

    No doubt about it, Maradona.

At present (and much more importantly with an eye towards 2006), what about Pablo Aimar? He was one of very few bright spots in the friendly against Holland, and Valencia are one of the top teams in Europe only when he is in the line-up. The downside is that Bielsa will probably have him working with dinosaurs like Caniggia and Claudio Lopez in Germany.
