No, I am not saying that every single Colorado said this, but I would say that the majority did say something along those lines.

Before the Libertadores started, you said Inter would win without a doubt? Do you feel that way still? Based on their results so far, that would be quite a statement.

And about Parana, it wasn't just about one game. They played you pretty well at Beira Rio and you won by the score of 3x2.

Majority of those you heard from. From the colorados I know (And would be fair do say I know thousands more than you do) I didn't heard that "we are winning the libertadores or we are the best team in SA while playing group stages) and for that you can also see stadium attendance. It wasn't untill after the WC and the LDU game that people believed it for real. You just don't know what are you talking about.

I take that is a question since I see a question mark.

Yes, but it wont' be a bigger statement than when we said that we would beat the mighty barcelona and the rest is history.

Are you talking a game on Brasileirao 2006 that Parana lost???

    PLEASE!!!!!

Shouldn't you kids be having this discussion in the Brasil forum, instead of ruining another thread here?

I think Boca Juniors is doing pretty well with Riquelme, their style of play became a lot more dangerous. They def. moved up in my book.

    PD: Comments about Brazilian teams:

Inter-Like the way they currently play, have a lot of talent on their squad and of course Elias Figueroas(Chile's best defender ever) played there and had a great time.

We should definetly remove Inter from the top ... 20 ! It was kicked off the Campeonato Gaúcho (regional championship from the Rio Grande do Sul state) by a very small team ...

LP - how can BJ and River be top 10:eek: ...Based on what merit? BJ just got beat at Cusco, lost at Toluca and isnt even the top team in their group (minus 1 GD)

and River??? They are on the verge of being eliminated??

And if choosing a Mexican team, I would think Pachuca is still 10x better then Chivas right now as they are the "superlider" of the Mexican league ans Sudamericana Champs.

they lost to the latest MLS champ at least. What about Chivas... beating DC United wasnt the biggest achievement in the world either. You still cant take the Pachuca sudamericana title that quickly...

Flamengo defended their Libertadores title valiantly. Inter is laying down and letting other teams push them around. What a champion!

Keep going with that mindset of yours CG. It is just like the one your president has. WE ARE THE WORLD CHAMPS, WE DON'T NEED TO MAKE ANY SIGNINGS!!!

Inter is a shame ... just go and read any football related blog in Brazil .. everybody talks about Inter as the ONCE CALDAS brasileiro ... shame, shame, shame ... the only Brazilian team to be kicked out of Libertadores this year, and the first one (in history) to be kicked out in 1st phase, after being champion ...

About Copa do Brasil last yeat ... Santos was there, and did not win.

We are in the second round, where are YOU? Oh, that's right, finally the whole continent saw your LIMITED team. Your arrogance was your downfall. You made NO signings thinking you are going to walk into the Libertadores and qualify and that plan faltered. Better luck next year, but that is if you even make it.

What do you mean next year ? For that they will have to be among top 5 in Campeonato Brasileiro .. they couldn't even qualify in their regional championship ... anyway, enough about Inter. Inter is now definitelly off topic, since this thread is about TOP teams.

Wait a minute, I thought Inter B only played the Gaúchão. Fernandão is part of Inter B's team? haha, whinning about two games a week is ridiculous. Flamengo won the Taça Guanabara and qualified with two games a week!
