I think his movement and play off the ball is one of his stronger attributes. He creates tons of space for his teammates (although they fail to utilize it most of the time). He shouldn't complain when his teammates screw up but it has to be frustrating for a player like him to be held back like he is at Spurs.

    1. Ronaldo: EASY #1. He's #3 in the world right now as well.
    2. Drogba: Say what you want, he's a beast.
    3. Fabregas: Best midfielder in the Premier League.
    4. Gerrard: Class.
    5. Torres: Unbelievable.

We are talking about best right now? Because if were talking about right now I find it hard for someone to debate that Scholes is as good as Cesc.

Just because Masch isnt an attacking midfielder and therefore doesnt get the goals/assists, doesnt mean he is worse than Cesc...he hasnt had a bad game this season and he monstered Cesc when Liverpool played Arsenal.

I think youve all been influenced by the media's hype of Cesc. Yes he is good, but their are midfielders in the EPL and the world who are much better than him.

Its debatable right now because Scholes is injured, but last season, Scholes contributed more to Man Utd than what Cesc has contributed for Arsenal this season.

That is debatable.Last year Scholes scored 6 goals in 30 matches.Cesc scored 6 goals in 7 games this season. While Scholes role is more defensive this shows that just by the role he plays he contributes less to man utd than cesc does Arsenal. Also the season is only half over:rolleyes:

Again...its not all about the goals and stats...scholes didnt just kick 6 balls and scored 6 goals, he contributed to everything.

    Why?

Cesc contributes more than Scholes does not including the goals if you wanna go that way.

Firstly, why did you need bold...you think im blind?

And secondly, thats very ignorant of you if you think so. So does Mascherano or Makelele contribute less to the team because they perform superbly at their role? Try again...

My point is that Cesc does defend as he is a CM but Scholes most of what he does is play behind Carrick.I mean everytime you watch Arsenal Cesc is playing a throughball near the box.

    1. He should have been #1 as a world.
    2. A beast with a poor scoring record.
    3. Laughable.
    4. There are better.
    5. I agree, it is unbelievable that you included him over other options.

I agree with your comment on #1. Ronaldo is the best player in the world right now. Though I'll say that he does slack off a bit under pressure.

Drogba has a poor scoring record? That's news to me.

Fabregas is good but does not merit a #3 spot.

Who I better than Gerrard at this spot in the EPL? Rooney?

Torres is awesome. As much as I hate him and Liverpool, this Spaniard is a natural.
