Yes, it's dominated by foreginers, but so would a Serie A select XI and a La Liga XI be.

Clan, why is an Allstare list trolling? BTW, what is trolling anyway? I've noticed that term a few times on the other board.

When you point out the players nationalities, it apperars as if it is intended to say that foreigners rule the Premiership, an argument that has been discussed alot around here lately.

Also, trolling is when you go on boards with purpose of starting arguments and putting down other people.

    Sorry 655321,
I just like the diversity of the Premiership. It's the imports that help add the flavor to the game. I certainly did not try to put anyone down.

In fact I did quite the opposite. I was complimenting the players that I thought were the best 11.

I have zero problems with you or the post. I was just answering your questions.

I will have to call you out on some of these choices, though. Reyna?? Silvestre?? Kanu?? Desailly?? Christ, why him??

I was not sure about Kanu or Desaily either. Kanu is really in form right now and you can't argue the goals he is scoring, but will it last? Maybe a Shearer or an Owen would have been a better pick. They are known to put up the numbers consistantly.

I'm suprised only one of you guys picked Beckham. I'm suprised no one picked Kellar. I was suprised someone picked Reyna. But happy the USA is represented.

Shearer's one of my favorite players, if not my favorite. I think at 32, he's still the best centerforward there is...bar none.

Not to be mean because we're all entitled to our opinion but Desailly!!????? certainly if this was the Desailly who played in WC98. Have you seen him recently? Definately other defenders that are better than the entire backline IMO, especially Desailly. Kanu could possibly edge on right now because he's playing well lately but if you're talking about consistently the best players, then he would not be there. He had two goals last year. Reyna!? I like him cuz I like the USMNT but there are many much better players than him in the EPL. Solano??

Although I'd agree that Hamann is a very good player, even though I don't think I'd put him in my starting eleven. Henry should definately be up there. Dudek is a very good keeper and Pires is also a quality player.

Why not Reyna? He's beem MOTM for just about every Sunderland match. Yeah they suck, but Claudio has received nothing but rave reviews. It is possible to have a great player on a bad team. Another case of the Ameriphobia.

Reyna is the best player fro Sunderland but not one of the top midfielders in the League...Maybe top 10, but thats a big maybe.
