90% spin...i think hes giving the founders too much credit for cutting their pay but thats understandable...after all it was either cut pay or lose the riffraff...they chose to collectivly make less...not bad but not chariatible. Hard to spin all the adjustments that theyve done especally the 16 player roster...and expansion...dont think so. but well I do think WUSA can make it into 2004 since they do have a fanbase if they can build on that and the ESPN2 deal is important and therefore get a new investor to work with the league and maybe even relieve the league of the dead weight of time warner, the league could get by. but you have to have faith in the league as commish, and he does have that...i just dunno if the investors have that much faith...this season is crucial, if they dont improve its over, if they do improve it will still be a nailbiting off season.
I was hoping he'd address the possibility of new investors, particularly the Chinese guy. Still, it's nice to hear some "rah-rah" stuff rather than only negative stuff...
