Lampard started out of position at LM so the Phil freakin Neville could start at CM. And SGE starts with the has-been Southgate and the never-will-be Upson at CB and terry on the bench. Positively baffling decisions. I am starting to edge firmly toward the "No Chelsea player should play for England" camp. They are either played out of position, sit the bench in favor of lesser talents, or get crocked. What's the use?

There has been a long and established history of great Chelsea players not being picked (for any length of time) for the national team. Osgood jumps out of memory and the fact that the likes of that fuckin waster Heskey has more caps than him is pathetic to say the least. During the late 60's, the 70's and parts of the 80's it was often a behind the scenes joke about good players unwilling to come or stay at Chelsea because of this.
