Lampard started out of position at LM so the Phil freakin Neville could start at CM. And SGE starts with the has-been Southgate and the never-will-be Upson at CB and terry on the bench. Positively baffling decisions.

I am starting to edge firmly toward the "No Chelsea player should play for England" camp. They are either played out of position, sit the bench in favor of lesser talents, or get crocked. What's the use?

I thought Gerrard is playing on the left and Frankie on the Right?? I'm watching the game so I don't know. Either way, that's complete bollox Sven is doing that, both of the are CM's for godsake!

I saw the lineup for the game I thought England were playing a 5-3-2. I didn't even know Phil could play CM (he probably can't).

There has been a long and established history of great Chelsea players not being picked (for any length of time) for the national team.

Osgood jumps out of memory and the fact that the likes of that fuckin waster Heskey has more caps than him is pathetic to say the least.
During the late 60's, the 70's and parts of the 80's it was often a behind the scenes joke about good players unwilling to come or stay at Chelsea because of this.

I was firmly in the Kerry Dixon for the starting England line-up and then they started with that eejit Linekar, what do they know? :)

Nevilles should be banned from playing for England period. How can you play a Neville in CM when you could play Lampard there and Joe Cole on the left?
Insanity or player power? or both?

Well at least Terry came on at the half.
    Lumpy gone after 60.

Seems like they are blaming Cole for the goal.
