I see two types of tongues on soccer shoe

    1. Tongues that dont fold onto the laces

    2. Tongues that do fold onto your laces

What are pro's and con's about the tongues that do and dont fold onto the laces? Or is it just preference?

Sorry if its been mentioned before.. just being careful what soccer shoes i should be looking for.

IMO there are no difference between those two tongues - the only place where it comes into play is if the tongue covers the laces completely, a la Predators. Some believe that it gives you a better surface for which to strike the ball with. Pros play with both, so it really comes down to personal preference.
