Just after lunch for me, perfect for a quiet day at work First game should be a win based on the squads but you never know. In 2016 we crashed out in the group stage against some meh teams.
Looking forward to the game later and also watching Germany v Brazil. it certainly has been a feast of football this summer
Yeah, that's good for us. I think most of the European nations don't take the olympics seriously, but Spain and Germany seem to be the exception to that.
Almada and Urzi not even on the bench, huh... I like our front 4 (Valenzuela, Mac Allister, Barco, Gaich) but will be interesting to see how Colombatto (who I did like for the u20s) and Vera does in centre midfield.
I like how it's the Tokyo Olympics but this game is in Sapporo, Hokkaido, you almost can't get any further away than that, lol.
So many misplaced passes from our guys, all over the pitch. The few times Australia venture forwar they look dangerous.
45 mins played and we're 90% out of the tournament already lol. We've looked like headless chickens most of the time, not good. Very disappointed with Medina, Perez and Mac Allister.
Stupidity from the ref might have killed Argentina's chances but Batista deserves a lot of blame for this as well. No ALmada or Pedro. Senesi left off completely.
Australia commiting plenty of fouls for the ref to hand them a red and even things up if he felt like it.
