Keep plugging away boys. We'd be in second place in the east, two points out of first (with a game in hand). I know it basically means zilch since we play in the West, although I think it's an indication that we are having a solid, if not spectacular season thus far.
After the KC game, I think doom and gloom a la 2003. After the San Jose game, I think hope and glory. After the DC and Columbus game, I realize, this season isn't great like 1999 or 2002, but its a sure hell of a step up from 2003. Now, I think Saturdays game will be the real test. A full week's rest, hottest team in MLS, redemption on the minds from last game. Delightful.
