My favorite player of all time.

Crazy to think he's 50. How time flies. One of those rare types that leave a positive impression everywhere they go.

Thanks for making me feel old(er). McHead is part of the golden generation of US Soccer who set the foundation both at a club and country. Favorite player? They are all my favorite players. Ok, may be Cobi because he used to piss off the CONCACAF (especially Mexico) teams.

I thought McBride was the toughest player in USMNT history until Dempsey showed up.

I'm old enough to remember when BigSoccer thought our WC2002 was doomed because the derisively-nicknamed McHead was leading the line against a heavily-favored Portugal.

Christ, I've been on here too long.
