Hello, I would like to give you a few tips if you want to play subbuteo as a sport or just meet some good players. I'm the President of the world-governing body in subbuteo and i'm trying to hear from as many players as possible. As we are not a large number of players, the internet can help to find people in the same city or state. If you are interested to know more about subbuteo in your area, drop me a line a FSITF@yahoo.com or take a look at http://people.freenet.de/dstfb/fistf_page.htm Also, the website of the US top club is now available at http://www.ct-tablesoccer.tk/ If you are in the US, in Europe or anywhere else, don't hesitate to contact me! Vincent Coppenolle FISTF president
Vincent, the WTSL will once again prove its dominance at the national tournament November 2nd and in the year-end rankings....unless I can make a strong showing of the Cville Subbuteo Club
Sorry Andrew Well, sorry if I didn't say the WTSL is the best club in the US. I think the Connecticut TSC has some ood players and also they have now 7 players who meet every week. If there were 10 or 20 clubs like this in the US, it would be fantastic. Also, I hope in the future Charlottesville SC will become a strong club. Any chance you can start a webpage of the Ch. SC? Also, there are no team matches in the US and I think it would be very interesting to see north american club facing each others in team matches as in Europe! Cheers Vincent
More about US subbuteo There is a good discussion group on http://groups.yahoo.com/group/tablesoccer/ Also, it's interesting to hear we have just discovered a league with over 30 players in Boston, MA. Let's hope they will find some opponents in the area! Vincent
Re: Sorry Andrew Connecticut POWER!!! Woo Hooo!!! I don't think Massimo or Ryan will be traveling to the Cup, but Jim has been flicking very well.
year-end American rankings available. Hopefully CTSC will host a tournament or two this year to get some of its members ranked.
