Rumor milling about over on the Crew board that Titus would be interested in a move to Columbus.

No sifnigicant facts (yet) to source the rumor, curious nonetheless.

Wouldn't doubt it. There seems to be some tension between the two. Titus was pissed when Hanki called out Titus and the defense after the 4-0 loss at home to NE. And Titus' comments after the 1-0 LA playoff loss were pretty overt about his desire to leave.

Think we could get Martino somehow? I can dream can't I.

Martino? Young American center mid with serious potential? Yeah, he'd make a great addition to the bench. Could sit right next to Beckerman.

As long as The Mop sticks around, it seems like a complete waste to have players like that on the Rapids. If Hankinson won't give them any playing time, what's the use?

Do I detect a slight sense of bitterness pertaining to CV and Hanki?

I agree completely. Couldn't CV take a role like Cienfuegos in LA? Play 60 minutes and then give way to a younger player. I doubt it. Hanki needs to really think this one through in the off-season.

BTW, your sarcasm was of the highest quality.

I doubt it, too. For those 60 minutes, Cienfuegos isn't afraid to really "run". As much as I like him as a distributor, Carlos rarely goes much past a "trot".

We did see some hustle in the playoffs, but some of that was him being pissed off more than anything.

Yes, kudos to the super sarcasm!!!!

Might as well make plans to have Titus out of the lineup for next season. The season ended a few weeks ago and this is still going. He's gone. He'll be missed for his defensive skills though. Thanks Rick, your a hard worker and have good skills.

Titus has never been afriad to voice his opinion. On a side note, he is currently working with a group to bring an A-league team to Edmonton. However, nothing will probably come out of it.

Hopefully Titus will be picked up by an A-league team. It might be difficult for him to find a spot on an MLS roster because he is Canadian (roster rules).
