not rumor but speculation/desire from some Furth fans about Timothy potentially returning to the club.

half the season has past and he's played nothing due to injury with a supposed 2020 contract.

in the link it also mentions that Furth have an option for another year so until 2023 potentially.

Furth seems like it could be a den for German-Americans, lol. Tillman, Green (expiring 2020 contract could be gone in Summer), Parker (although headed out in Winter) and McLemore (II, has trained with 1st team). While The American Ferri seems to have been kicked out.

on another note, it does highlight how the younger (and some older) German-American age groups are nowhere near ready to be in 1BL.

your S.Parker, D.Parker, Boyd, Gotz, Pisot, George, McLemore, Gipson, Green, Costly, Jurcher, Zelalem, Friede, Lankford, Maloney (loan candidate), Weiss (plays in II aka OL), T.Tillman, Anton, Leibold are all 2BL and lower. There are a bunch of other 95-00 but all in lower levels. The only 01 German-American in a 1BL Academy Mike Grimm was never a 1st team prospect and not even a U19 starter either, all of the other 01 are from 2BL and lower Academies too. Nothing wrong with that, it sometimes better to be in lower level Academy as the jump is easier and then you go from there. At this point 00-Malone is the only one from the younger age groups who has a potential shot at 1BL early. The rest seems like they have to take longer route to 1BL.........if ever.

had Tillman just stayed at Furth from the beginning, a club that always rated him very highly he would have been playing 2BL last season already. Instead of going to Bayern where 1st team jump is extremely slim.

wouldn't be surprised if he's forced to start at II since he was injured all season. Get some much needed match practice before getting 1st team chances.

Imagine if Bayern green lighted the sale to Real Madrid

it was Barcelona, and he would have bombed and wasted even more time there. It's only due to doing well in some UEFA YL game at the time. If he wasn't playing for Bayern their wouldn't be any Barca interest anyways since Furth is more low profile club.

for some years, all indication have pointed towards his younger bro M.Tillman as being the bigger talent. Bild even listed him on their list of Bayern youth players who are potential 1st team prospects with huge potential while Guardian listed him on their top 60 02s of world football. I don't take listings about best players in age group in the world seriously because it's easy to not pan out. But when your rated by your own club that's more important.

The good: Fürth is fun to watch and they still have a slim shot at promotion, but otherwise they are a mid-table 2.BuLi club.

before that friendly he scored 2 goals in training.

on another note, if you believe what people say.
1-supposedly Furth only payed $50 000 (likely due to having played 0 games all season, expiring 2020 contract and lower level)
2-Bayern didn't care for any buyback since they don't think he'll be Bayern material in future

nope he was unused bench player vs Furth as he made his 1st team debut for Bayern where he scored vs 2BL club FCN (also drew PK which another failed to convert).

Bad loss at home for Furth. They're left seven points off the promotion playoff spot.

So he’s playing a little deeper in midfield now?

He was actually playing a Dual 8 system in a straight 4-3-3 with Green.

He is very similar to Green, but not as comfortable in the middle yet. Like Green, he is capable of receiving the ball under heavy pressure, maintaining possession and finding a pass. Maybe not a great pass or the correct play. Kind of interesting how former Bayern youth forwards go to GvF to become 8s. Tillman is fast and pretty good defensively in the press. You could see him drift out of position but then recognize it and get in shape. Learning.

2.Bund games look quite a bit like MLS games to me. I don't think much separates Tillman from Green other than experience and maybe an outside shot, and I don't think the two are any worse than Roldan or Djorde or any average MLS player that has started for the USMNT.

In terms of controlling a ball with a guy on his back, and not losing it, Tillman is better than Roldan. But hard to tell in this game if he does anything else better or worse as he didn't get on the ball that much.

only lasted the 1st half in a 2-0 loss. Didn't watch but a lot of negative reactions from Furth fans towards him and things like Tillman has no business starting and only the coach knows why he started.
