The article below from the Liverpool Daily Post sums up a lot of my reaction to the Birmingham game and our recent form. Hope belief and fortitude will show up against Manure. http://icliverpool.icnetwork.co.uk/...fm?objectid=12674631&method=full&siteid=50061
I don't think "They wanted it more than us" will be said after the League Cup final. This could be the game that turns the season. That's the great thing about football. Things change quickly. There is enough quality in the team to pile up W's over the remaining months.
Re: Re: Timid Reds would break Shankly's heart Isn't Stevie from Huyton? I thought it was Robbie who was from Toxteth.
Saw a great banner of Shanks at the game. I think people are still proud of him just as he'd still be proud of the boys.
Re: Re: Re: Timid Reds would break Shankly's heart I think you're right. The excitement of the moment!
Huyton Hammer or Toxteth Terror? No jokes about the Cheshire Cat only appearing once in a while, please...
