    Rubbish.

Here are a couple of choice items from this one:

"But Arsenal do not just need fine-tuning, more a serious overhaul..."

Really? 2nd in league and the FA Cup means a serious overhaul? Then what do Chelsea, Newcastle, Liverpool and the rest need?

"According to Madrid insiders, the talks represent far more than that, and suggest Wenger may never return to his desk at Arsenal's London Colney training headquarters."

Madrid insiders? Whom might they be and what is their agenda?

Then, after stirring the pot, they note, "Much of that may be specious nonsense."

"But it is equally clear that the Arsenal manager is looking at the beginning of the end of his Highbury reign..."

Really? What is that based on? I haven't heard Wenger say anything like that.

The story goes on with more fear-mongering. This is textbook "There's nothing going on, let's just pull stuff from our arse" stuff.

And people say the Sun is bad...

Seriously, this is your typical "they finished second in the league, so they need new players" thing that happens everytime a club fails to do what everyone thought they would do, particularly when it comes to championships. Does Arsenal need to strengthen a few areas? Sure, but so does every other team in the EPL, including ManUre. And, as Rick said, Arsenal are in a helluva lot better shape than the likes of Leeds, Liverpool, and Capital Cup runners-up Sperzzz. Those are the teams that need overhauls. Arsenal just needs a little fine-tuning.

I believe these are the same "Madrid Insiders" who said PV4 was signed, sealed, and delivered while relaxing on the beach two years ago.
