Curbs hints at changing the lineup from previous weeks. Check it out.

What will this mean? Maybe Thomas gets his debut by starting out on the left. I will certainly be "watching" things via the web -- and maybe listening too.

There also a good article about Euell there on the club's web site. Sounds like Jason will be back and in his midfield role.

Actually, what this might mean is that Konchesky will be replaced by Stuart who has played rather well on the left. Euell will be on the other wing and Young or Kishishev will get the start at fullback.

However, we could see Jensen start on the bench with Euell in central midfield allowing both Yound and Kishishev to start. I don't think I'd do this one. They need Jensen to take the corners and free kicks. Paolo isn't quite as good at that as Jensen. Besides, having both Paolo and Claus out there together means plenty of chances created for the rest of the squad.

I know you are all hiped-up by Thomas. I don't know if he even made any appearances for Arsenal during their cup matches this year which is when they've ran out all of their reserves. You can't compare him to Carlton Cole as Cole got into many matches with Chelsea last season including destroying us on openning day last year.

You have to look at his transfer fee. It was only £100,000 which is exactly what we paid for Perry. That indicates a lot questions about his skills. He did score a goal in a reserve match but most of those matches aren't even first division quality. For me the jury will be out on Thomas until he gets some matches and now that we are in the thick of a fight for a European place it is not the time to tryout unproven players. We need to be well out of contention before we throw caution to the wind.

    Good points all around, kev.

Yes, I want to see this kid play. But if Curbs doesn't think he is ready…

Who can play on the right wing besides Stuart or Euell? Someone besides Kishishev? Can Jensen play to the right? What about CR? Or JJ?

It would be great to see Stuart out there on the left. Anything to keep Konchesky off the pitch would suit me fine.

I much prefer Euell in the center. He handles the ball well and pushes into the box which creates problems for the opponents. Since he went down there has been a big hole in the middle behind the strikers. Euell fills that hole greatly.

Euell in my opinion is best facing the goal right behind the strikers.

Where do Bartlett and Lisbie fit into the equation?

I haven't seen Bartlett or Lisbie, really. I guess it depends on Cole's continued performance.

I heard Cole was kind of lazy during much of his time on the pitch Saturday. He let DiCanio do all the chasing. Either he was tired from duty with England U-21 or he was lazy. I'm sure Curbs will not keep Cole in if he continues to drag around. Then we might see B or L.

You certainly are not going to replace DiCanio right now! He is filled with the spirit! He had mentioned that at one time he was thinking of retiring. But since he has signed with Charlton, he is having fun again. Someone needs to tell him when he is done with the EPL that he should come to the MLS for a few seasons. He could be the next Preki.
