As we approach the holiday season, it is a good time to remind you all to help those that are less fortunate than you. Please donate goods to the Second Harvest Food Bank in San Jose. They are at 750 Curtner Avenue, but you can probably find their drop-off barrels in many supermarkets and other stores. With the current economy, many new people need this service. One of them, unfortunately, is me. As I am no longer needed by the San Jose Earthquake organization and given the poor state of the assassination industry, I have found myself in a desperate situation. If it was not for the good people at Second Harvest, I would have been forced to eat ..oh, the humanity.. dog food. Here are things that are good to donate with my own commentary of what I like: canned soup (I like the creamy ones) canned chili (not too spicy, I get gas) canned cat (not everyone’s favorite, I admit) breakfast cereal (Frosted Flakes, of course) powdered milk peanut butter (mmm, hours of fun) tuna (I like those flat packages better) 100% fruit juice boxes (tropical fruits are a favorite) ready-to-eat cans with pop-top lids are good, so I can eat them in my new home, under the 280 freeway near Steven's Creek. Go to Safeway or Albertson's with those cards they have, buy a bunch of the items above that happen to be on sale, and you can get a surprising amount of food for not too much money. Please, think of the children. And the high-tech dogs. http://www.2ndharvest.net ------- Please see the dirty traitors that fired me at www.sjearthquakes.com.
We have a big barrell at my work to colect cans and such. I already donated a bag to the cause. All Save Mart's should have them also. Im not sure if it goes to the organization that Rikter named, but it all helps in the end, as long as it goes to the needy.
