This has to be it now. No more arguing. It fits our play and our sponsor. My vote is here. This is our tagline else i refuse to enter the forum in any type of positive mindset or attitude! Yes, that is a threat.

I vote for something other than "It's like watching paint dry"

    Sorry, couldn't help myself.

You might want to spell it correctly in your tagline then, mediocre.

    You've got a point.

Call it an unforced error. Something we're all too familiar with.

I dont get it.. I mean the humor's in:
Columbus Crew: Painting the Town Medi-Ochre!

Unless you want the thing to be indirectly pun-ny.

We aren't even mediocre though. Mediocre is 8th place and leaving the playoffs after the first round. We don't even deserve mediocre right now.

Columbus Crew: The only way we get out of last place is adding another team to the division.

Sort of. Pettyfog went with the "ochre" at the end rather than just saying "mediocre." I thought it was a nice switch. Bob Ross fans probably got a chuckle.

I only gave the spelling of medi-ochre, but mine was 7 posts after BrooklynCrew's post... that was my point.

Yep. I tried to rep him, but was all out-- can someone spot me.

And I vote we immediately change the tag-line to
"Columbus Crew: Painting the town medi-ochre, since 2004."

Thanks, especially since Ochre turns out to be a type of yellow-goldish.

    I like the tagline.

At the same time, at least the last game wasn't like watching paint dry. It was both better and worse. In fact, the season's been like a roller coaster except our roller coaster tends to be mostly one way. Still, there were a few good points.
