What I read this morning was that the appeal was denied.

I'm pretty sure Utd's bid was 100m pounds, so we're already behind in the bidding (unless the pound craters, which isn't out of the question)

At least he shot it down quickly this time. Another day or 2 and he'd be in London for his medical.

Makes me wonder why we don't meet Griezmann's buyout clause - the same amount - now then. Unlikely to agree personal terms though with no CL.

Apparently he's already agreed terms with United.

The Guardian were saying yesterday that united had dropped interest in him to focus on a striker.

Ornstein is the club's mouthpiece, so some value to what he said, but info out of France says that a bid was made:

Apparently the other way around: Griezmann decided he wanted to stay in Madrid.

I don' think Wenger will spend 100m on anyone short of Messi or Ronaldo.

I'm going to assume we sign absolutely no one until late August. If we sign anyone before then it will be a pleasant surprise to me.

He only decided to stay after Atletico's transfer ban was upheld.

Anyone have an idea why he hasn't been officially announced?

That's a bit odd though because the team now can't improve so it's unlikely they will have an increased chance of success. Maybe he actually cares about putting them in a weaker position if he were to leave? The transfer ban is incoming only, I think.

He's under contract at Schalke until the end of June so they're probably waiting until that expires.

Mbappe to Arsenal? With no UCL opportunity? Ha!

Someone asked why spend that money on Mbappe but not Griezmann.

Mbappe is younger, has more upside, could legit help us now, and could be resold for drive in a few years.

Even if he flops, we will be able to recover a lot of the fee since he is so young.

    It makes sense financially.

Still don't believe we bid for him.

In other news, Juve have apparently bought Wojeich.

I heard it was Napoli about a week ago. Either way, I will miss our Polish Mad Jens.

Does that mean Ospina will stay and Martinez goes out on loan again?

    Im not a Arsenal fan.
I just thought I would stop by today after hearing that guy talk to bein sport today. First off all I just want to say I really feel for your fan base. Wenger has sucked the joy out of your club, along with Kronke. I heard him say that he will make 3 signings maximum today in his interview, and when he said that I wanted to bash my head in, and I'm not even a Arsenal fan. He needs to go, he is past it. Wenger will never win the league again in my opinon no matter how long he stays at Arsenal. He knows his job is safe becasue he knows as long as he makes Kronke profit for the year he is safe. You guys also need to get rid of that greedy owner of yours. That guy has no loyalty to fans, how do I know, well he took a team out of my town and ran off to Los Angeles. All Kronke cares about is money. I can only see things at Arsenal get worse. Ozil and Sanchez rumored to leave, no champions league football, false bids (putting in bids to pretned to fans you are doing something) for players like Mbappe. Bad times.

P.S we will take good care of Sanchez.
