Well, given the teams identified in the background, it's pre contraction but post expansion #1, which puts us 1998-2001. I'd guess it was pre division realignment as well, which get us down to 1998-2000. So let's split the difference and say that this is probably a 1999 photo so that the white road uniform would have been available for purchase. Anyone want to take it from there?

 

Wow, that is OLD school. I have a guess or two as to what that pic is from, but I don't even know myself.

I do note that we're sitting, which gives me some idea as to where the pic might have been taken.

 

The vertical striped jersey was worn during the 1998 and 1999 seasons.

The city name signage is MLS signage, so that would limit the venues.

It looks like a stadium with an upper deck, with a curved fascade. Giants Stadium? The Horseshoe (Ohio State)?

That's my guess, too, in part because we're sitting (for a while early on they used to put us in sitting sections among the general Jersey populace) and in part because the "Washington DC" isn't front and center among the names on the overhead banners.
