Yeah thanks I’ll look into it. I’m just hoping to find a way to watch it without subscribing to some package that includes a bunch of redundant other crap I don’t need.

I already have peacock, espn plus, and nbc sports which offers plenty of coverage but la Liga and Ligue un would be nice too.

The internet certainly offered the promise of a la carte for (legal) entertainment, and it is improved in that regard, but many of the packages still come with a lot of excess programming, because the tv channels who already had the cash, finagled plenty of exclusive rights. So then you have to absorb a lot of excess still.

Just have to take the best of what's available. Hope it helped in that regard.

Fanatiz gets you all the Bein channels and pretty much all the Ligue 1 and La Liga games, amongst others. Pretty good deal even if just for Weah/Barca boys purposes.

Lille @ Bordeaux at 1:00 PM eastern
Weah in the Groupe, as usual
How about a (surprise) mid-week start today? Thanks in advance!

Just not getting the ball to Weah much, and Lille don't look that good today.

This is the sleepiest announcer I have ever heard.

Not very involved half as a cf. Pressed well but couldn't get the ball back to him through the crowd because he's not much of a target.

Would like to see them bring in David and move Weah out wide. But more likely they'd sub Weah and keep Bamba + Ikone in. Maybe one would move central while they yank Yazici. He's been lackluster.

He seemed happiest when he could drift wide or come deep and get the ball. Lille has so little going on, this is the only time he could have much impact.

Several times I saw him running around pressing while everyone else stands at midfield. I'm no tactician, but this doesn't seem like it is destined for success.

Great run by Bamba, turns the corner on the defender, has Weah in front of goal and Yazici at the penalty spot to choose from. Yazici was the easier pass, and he one-times the shot into the top of the net to make it 1-0.

Yazici takes an awkward step - accidentally onto Koscielny's leg, and here comes the subs. The injury might mean Weah is staying on and moving to left wing instead of coming off. Double sub and he's still in.

They passed it to Weah that time. Tap-in. Could have had the previous one too. But Bamba opted for a harder shot by Yazici instead.

GOAL WEAH - Finishes off a counterattack after a corner. Weah wound up on the right wing from the defensive corner, Araujo really goes after it with pace and puts it absolutely on a platter for Weah, who had great hustle to get in position but makes a 98% conversion type of shot. Nice fast counter by the group. 2-0.

He is now playing as a LW.

    He looks gassed.

Did anyone hear the British announcer throwing shade on French for soft fouls? Lol

Weah off for Lihadji 81st minute - probably because of being tired, as LouisZ said. Probably didn't expect to be going 90 in the first place.

Understandably tired, and no reason to diminish his goals/minute rate.

I think Weah should be in consideration for the starting RW position for our NT. He is scoring and sometimes starting for a top team in a top 5 league.

Well, one can, but there is a completely separate place to do it, and it certainly ain't the PBP thread!

Agreed, take it to the McKennie thread folks.

Just saw the goal. That was an absolutely fantastic counter. Those guys were all blazing. 3 great passes + 1 professional finish = 1 end-to-end goal in less than 10 seconds
