Smart run! Looked a tad off but guess not. Composed finish. Nice! He's coming back...

The right back dropped and kept him on.

    Great run, terrific goal.

Montpellier tie it up on a corner.

These Lille midfielders love to take terrible long shots.

What a golazo. I'm surprised this team is ahead of PSG in the standings

Need to find that winner or they'll be out of 1st place.

Looks like they did! Yilmaz in the 87th minute - pass nicely slipped behind the wall with Montpellier's left back keeping everyone onside for no reason, near post placement past the aggressive charge by the keeper.

Lille do everything but score on a pretty easy opportunity in the 95th minute, setting up an unnecesary foul and dangerous free kick from the right as the final play of the game ...

... and the free kick is deflected off of the cross bar and out - almost losing the points on the last play of the game. Keeper's quick reaction save almost puts it into his own upper 90m but instead off the crossbar and toward safety.

The two subs who came in when Weah came out combined for the goal.

Time to pull up the gameday thread, as Lille host Angers today @ 3:00 PM eastern.

I see some nice names to work with in Le Groupe - let's see who plays today.

Note that "Galtier told reporters ahead of the game that Sanches was hoping to feature, but Zeki Çelik and Jérémy Pied are sidelined, while both Luiz Araujo and Yusuf Yazici have been ruled out after testing positive for Covid-19.

The two Covid cases, at least, are competitors for time on the field.

Am I missing something: ESPN doesn’t have Timo on today’s roster.
