    Hey all -

I'm out in LA from the 6th - 12th of april visiting my brother at USC. While there, I'm interested in seeing what the stadium looks like and figured I'd check out a game since the galaxy are home. Do you have to go the evil ticketmaster route for the game, or can you buy walk-up on the 10th? Anyplace in the stadium is fine, but again, is there one location that would be more entertaining to sit in?

    Thanks for any possible advice.

Normally, you would be able to show up on game day and buy tickets at the ticket office. Since this is Freddy Adu's debut in Los Angeles, this game MAY sell-out before then. To avoid being shut out, call the Galaxy ticket office and order tickets through them (1-877-3GALAXY).

Good luck and enjoy your stay in LA.

Adu or not, you should have no problem getting a ticket on walk-up.

The typical Galaxy crowd is 75% Latino, and I really don't feel that the Latino crowd is too hyped up about Adu.

Adu will probably bring in a couple thousand more fans, but a sell-out?

call the number and you can pick your ticket up at will call. better safe than sorry. if that falls through check the boards as the date approaches and you can usually find an extra ticket. there are usually people outside before the game that have an extra ticket as well. by the way, if you order a ticket on the phone, ask for sec 138, it is the most, um, entertaining

Wow, I actually agree w/ Tree...

You are 100% more likely to see Adu highlights on the nightly news (you know, the highest rated in LA) on Univision or Telemundo than on the Anglophone networks. And Contacto Deportivo (11pm, Telefutura) follows him very, very closely...
