Come on all you Arsenal fans with your TRS/Silver membership cards!! It's the first match of the season and there are still tickets available.

For all of you who have not got a clue what I am going on about (as usual!!) I will explain. There are 8000 tickets that go on sale for every game to TRS /Silver members which have to be purchased using a membership number. There are 20,000 members so therefore you would think given all the moaning about no Arsenal tickets being available ever from Londoners, that all 8,000 would sell out within a few hours. Well the first game of the new season has been on sale since 9.30am UK time and has still not sold out. That to me is stupid. There are so many people who ask Jeff and myself for tickets that I could sometimes fill a whole block!! So therefore can we have an effort for any TRS / Silver member who has a membership number that they are not going to use to get in touch, pass me the number and I will use it for other people for matches you are going to attend. Ask most on here and they will say I am reliable, so don't post your number, but pm me. This amount of tickets left over isn't needed, there are plenty of good homes for them to go to!!!!

    Cheers

    Rick

Rick - I agree it's insane that people have the opportunity to get tickets and they don't even jump on it. If I were a silver member I would be sending you my number right now. Too bad I'm only red.

Come one people if you're not going to use your TRS Card give them to Rick so he can help all of us crazy Americans and others to get tickets and not pay through the roof for them. Keep them out of the touts hands and get them for true fans.

And his sock was redded soon after.

People, here's a tip: if you're going to use a sock, at least change your posting style. That makes it harder for the mods to detect. Oh, and don't post in the same forum where you just got redded, since we can check your IP address, too.

Sorry Rickbreese-you know we are like children on ritalin and are easily distracted!

Please if you have access to the tickets and you have not purchased them yet, let RIck know because he is usually instrumental in getting folks tickets who need them.

I would actually suggest that about half the games played at Highbury will go on sale to Red Level this season. That is roughly how many went on sale to General Public last season. Anyway when games do go to Red level I will post and see if anyone wants tickets.

Rick, I assume you are talking about the Boro match. Heh, it will be great to see Parlour, although not in the red and white, but I'm sure he'll get a mighty cheer.

Cheers, Rick. I would certainly appreciate your help in reminding us about the tickets sales that don't get snatched up by the Silver members.

I was shocked that I was able to get tickets to the Charity Shield as a Red member, and would be right chuffed if I could see a few more matches without paying over the odds.

Cheers Rick. I have red level starting this year (given it is the first). Does this help for away tixs? Bringing the kids to a game, but can only do the Norwich game. Yellow bellies!!!!!! Going back down.

BTW - anyone got kids (anyone got kids?!) who attended the Gooners Summer Schools before? Daughter doing it for the first time. She could not be more excited.

I don't know to be honest whether it helps for away games. Some away games do go on general sale, but the Norwich game will not and will sell out quickly this is becaues many Gooners (including myself have never been to Carrow Road before. Therefore if you are needing tickets for that match, please get in touch with me as soon as the onsale date gets announced on arsenal.com by pm and I will see what I can do.
