Where is the Casbah(those that will make it) going to sit at the game in LA on 6/18? I live in SoCal now and want to sit with Quake fans.

That's a great question! I have that week off and am planning on heading down there for the game.

Glad you asked cuz I've been putting it off. I got a bit of news on Saturday regarding the hotel and bus (most likely won't happen). But is there anyone organizing tickets for this game?

I asked some senior Club Quake folks about it. They are going to discuss it at the meeting tomorrow (see www.clubquake.org for details about the meeting... right porkrind?)

Somebody will be looking into getting a block of tickets and researching travel stuff for the people who are taking the day off and heading down there, and posting the information here. I saw that Jet Blue had some really cheap fares, about $75 round trip from Oakland to Long Beach...

I will post the stuff that affects fans and club quake members, but all the juicy backroom politicking and inside gossiping will stay with us board members ;)

    'Quakes vs. LA June 18

It may be a bit early, given that there are three league games for the 'Quakes between now and Los Angeles, but who's planning on going down to the new stadium and cheering on the team? Seems early enough to plan a sick day at work, or even put in a vacation :) And we really WOULDN'T want LA to enjoy a home field advantage when it's just a short drive or flight away, would we? Wouldn't it be fun to welcome the 2002 MLS Cup champions with a loss in their pretty new home?!

I'll try my best to be there ... Although, giving the fact that I can't drive now - I can make it only if there will be a Club Quake bus, or if somebody wouldn't mind to give me a ride there... ;)
