will Broadway be getting shut down ... or will we be like the Devils and have a party in the car park. will the empire state building be red and black for a day ? will there be photo opportunities with the trophy at some point ? will the team do a lap of honor before next weeks mouth watering clash with Dallas ?
if what? getting a little ahead of yourself there my little metro. you still have to get to mls cup first, because i know you're not talking about the atlantic cup... nyc ain't gonna shut down for our little rivalry when you guys can't even get 9,000 to show up for a game.
I believe the post is Mr. Coleman's tongue-in-cheek way of celebrating the Metros taking possesion of the (yawn - 'scuse me) Atlantic Cup. I for one am all a quiver over seeing it paraded around Giants Stadium on 10/11.
Umm we don't care....On the DC homepage, they have the "Atlantic Cup Game" at the top. It isn't even on the Metros page.....
The parade should be in Harrison! It will end in the spot where the stadium will be built for a ground breaking ceremony. Nick, Bob Bradley and Steve Jolley will all put the first shovel in the ground.
i say throw it at La Norte... especially the guy with the yellow "insecurity" shirt, what a *#*#*#*#.
Cool!!!! Maybe Jolley will do a somersault before digging in his spade just like he has been known to do with his throw-ins!
We should send it back to DC with a big METROSTARS 2003 ATLANTIC CUP WINNERS in bold writing and let them add it to there dusty old trophy cabinet. At least they'll have an excuse to open it up again for the first time in years!!
