Jozys tarnished reputation at English Premier league might be a major disappointment for TFC fans . Suffering continues.

European failure? Except that small footnote when he led the Dutch league in goals. I mean most failures have that blemish on their record.

Here's a fact kids: play on a crappy team with no ability to get the ball forward and you are going to fail as a forward.

And the MLS love fest for LAG continues. Sickening. Maybe the league should consider having just one team.

LD won the award once and was a finalist one other time. Preki won the damn thing twice and was a finalist once. Donovan is in the same sentence as Twellman, Wondo, and Keane.

I don't think they're going off of who won it the most, but who was most valuable to the league as a whole. LD was definitely a catalyst for the league.

MLS Cup named after LA owner and now MVP award named after LA player. Only a matter of time until Alan Gordon gets his own award.

That's obviously what they were going for, but it feels too soon.

It's a no brainer if you aren't an irrational hater.

The term "hater" should be banned on this board.

    Damn you.

The hatred I have for you is very similar to the hatred I have for 78.

I can't wait to see your posts in a couple years when they announce the Bruce Arena Coach of the Year Award...

That's because Phil Anshutz is exponentially more than just the owner of the Galaxy. MLS would literally not exist today without Phil Anshutz. 7 different clubs owe him their existence and at one point he owned 60% of the league. You could argue he is the most important person in the history of US soccer.

At least we won't have to worry about the Carlo Cudicini Goalkeeper of the Year Award

I don't entirely disagree with you, but this is a bit of an excuse. Tell me something, how have Sunderland's other strikers like Fletcher and Wickham performed over the last two seasons on this crappy team with no ability to get the ball forward as you say?

Just admit it, Jozy's British adventure was a complete bust. I love the guy and believe he will do well at TFC, but there's just no way around his failure in England.

I think it's a great idea to award the worst goalkeeper every season….

I would argue that Sunderland lacks a willingness to attack more than the ability to do so.
