That's the Romanian club, Cluj, I believe.

Been giving Steaua Bucharest a run for their money as the top team in the country in recent years.

You mean FCSB as they're now known.

Did not know about the name change--I used to play soccer with some Romanian dudes, but am no longer in the loop.

I can't say for sure, but I'd wager the financial climate is such that they feel more pressure to perform and have more financial flexibility to make such moves.

But that's only sober me talking.

I don't know about Traustason but Matan was in Porter's doghouse. Alex is pretty small and quick. He doesn't play much defense but can move the ball forward. He looked useful last season but hardly played this year. He's more useful than Kevin Molino imo but nobody would take Molino at this point.

Traustason has been here a year and a half, and he'll be 30 years old in April.

I think Steuau is considered a communist era name.

It would be like calling a US state after King George or the Virgin Queen, never gonna happen

Maybe; the guys I played with still used that name (at least the one I was friends with did). But that could've been old habit.
