Wow. Talk about last minute signings!

    OK here we go -

    Paul Dickov

His signing has yet to be ratified by the Football League and the Football Association, however that is expected to come through on Friday and if so then he will go straight into the squad for the match against Leicester City on Saturday.

Dickov, a striker, is signing on loan from Manchester City until the end of the season and whilst he is 35 he is a former Scottish international and has a wealth of experience in the Premiership.

    Stuart Green

Simon Grayson has been after midfielder Green for some time now. He tried to sign him in Summer 2006 from Hull City but Green chose to sign for Crystal Palace instead. Green has signed an 18 month contract with the Seasiders and will also go straight into the squad for Saturday.

26 year old Green started his career at Newcastle United before signing for Hull in 2002.

    Pāvels Šteinbors

Pāvels Šteinbors comes in on loan from Latvian Virsliga club FK Jūrmala until the end of the season, but with a view to then signing a permanent one year contract after that. He has played for Latvia at Under19 and Under 21 level, and played for Jūrmala in the Latvian top flight in the 2007 season. He first came on loan at Christmas and has impressed the coaching staff at Bloomfield Road. So that is Latvian number two at the club now!
