    Hey,

I know there's been talk over who the new shirt sponsor may be this year (I've heard a lot of talk about maybe Verizon), but I haven't really seen a thread that discussed all the possible corporations that could try to get their logo on the '08 kit. Any thoughts out there as to who may try to be the shirt sponsor?

Given the flood of South American players, this might be a possibility:

That stuff is awesome. I had it once at a Peruvian restaurant. Not as good as Kolashampan (El Salvador) but its the 2nd best Latin American soft drink IMO.

And they have Inca Kola in diet, too!

By the way, if anyone starts a shirt sponsor thread without checking on any of the numerous old posts, God kills a hamster.

    Think of the hamsters.

Damn. I saw the thread and thought something was finally announced and not just another speculation thread.

I didn't know they had it in diet. Substantial difference?

Geez, I don't like to be a bitch, but...
Can you please think about what you're thread title implies before posting?
I naturally assumed it was an announcement not a rehash, and my company ain't payin' me to read no rehashes. ;)

Since we're talking more about SA colas than anything real --

True, but since the influx is so heavily Argentine maybe this would be a better choice

I just read my own thread title and thought the same thing. Oops. Wasn't intended. "Thoughts on Possible New Shirt Sponsors" might have been a better pick.

Nice catch and request, blazindw. It's hard to remember to really consider what we're conveying when we put the title on a new thread.

I wish more gave it more thought, but sometimes I have to see it in print before having one of those 'oh, damn' moments. Luckily I've most often been able to catch it in time to still be able to edit.

    Anyway, thanks.

It's not bad. The place I see the Diet Inca most frequently is at Shoppers Food Warehouse.

Although I don't normally like diet drinks, I'll find a few and give it a try if the Diet version is the same as Lite.

    Inca Kola = Coca Cola

Not a bad sponsor after all, no?

And, BTW - Inca Kola IS the best drink in South America with Kola Inglesa a close second and Baccus' Guarana bringin up the third spot

You can get them all at a market across from the Whole Foods near the Courthouse metro stop. :)
