credit to @Red 11. only entry. maybe premature but i'll go with it anyway given it was summer the other one was allowed to run a bit longer with transfers etc. but it was time for a new one. proceed here.
Tottenham are looking to make some moves: Janssen is all but a done deal, while they are linked to Wijnaldum and Gotze (even if Dortmund are said to be a possible destination for him as well).

With this new found wealth for the second tier English teams, it's driving prices big time. For example, a soon to be 30 year old bacca is now going for 26m pounds. The guy only has maybe 2, maybe 3 years left at the top his game before decline really takes hold. That a depreciation cost of around 8-10m a year on transfer alone, for a freaking Carlos Bacca.
Those Higuain to Arsenal for 50m+Giroud is a clear sign of Wenger's last season if true. He was also trying to sign Miki. Everton are throwing money on defenders; 30m bid for Rugani as well. Sounds like Pep might end up paying those 50m pounds for Stones.
30m for Rugani is a steal; much better signing than Stones for 50m. If we didn't need immediate results, I'd pay up for Rugani.
Napoli are entirely justified in asking a high price for Koulibaly. The financial state of Prem clubs now (the ones also apparently interested the most in him) are an obvious factor. The more crucial factor is simply the fact that quality CB right now do not run the streets and it's a position that will demand a premium in terms of pricing. Supply and demand really.

After missing on Vardy, it appears that Wenger is ready to offer Napoli Giroud, plus $55mil for Higuain...
According to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, Arsenal and Chelsea are monitoring Roma defender Kostas Manolas, a player United are thought to have tracked over recent months. The 25-year-old has been capped 23 times by Greece and is expected to fetch a substantial fee, if he leaves the Serie A giants this summer.
Bild saying that City have a deal in place for Sane. Sigh. Very good signing by them. Hopefully they can negate it by paying a world record fee for Stones.
Well speaking of Pool, Klopp told Balo he needs to go https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/jul/13/mario-balotelli-no-future-liverpool-jurgen-klopp Wonder where he will end up next, but his next move needs to count if he's got any hopes of salvaging what was a very promising career not that long ago...
