Three blatant dives today, he was lucky not to get his next red card...Disgusting behaviour.

If we are ahead and he starts pulling crap like this, I wouldn't mind a straight red rather than a yellow given to him. Don't like divers in other teams, and I don't like them in my team either.

How does this topic have 105 posts already? Are we that desperate for the next "star" of German football?

What do you think about Mullers performance in the DFB Pokal match with Frankfurt?

It was an excellent performance. It was kinda remarkable if you consider the fact that he (more or less) cost his team the match against Bordeaux last week by being sent off stupidly, and being heavily criticised again this weekend for his diving. So despite all the negative publicity, or maybe because of it, he gave the answer on the pitch with a truly good performance.

So the kid doesn't just seem to be very talented, he has the right mentality also. I always said that I believe Bayern to have a true gem with Müller, and I stand by that. He is a great talent.

10-12 years ago. I played music at samui island. I meet the boy who was from Germany and his parent . I ask him "what your name?" "Thomas...Thomas Muller" I very interesting because "Muller" is a sure name of Gerd Muller But he don"t knew it. Every evening I play football on the beach with him and I told him to play for
bayern football club when he grow up. He like me to ride motorcycle around island with him. When I'm back to BKK , he cry and call my name "Neng neng" at the door of my van . I don't forgot it and remember his name all time. I'm got back to samui some high season but don't saw him again.
I think Thomas have forgot me because it's long long time ago.
But I'm still cheer and support you Thomas.

Thomas Mueller was rather disappointing VS Leverkusen.

Van Gaal tried to play him at RM, but thats not his best position for sure. Have seen him played several times at RM and he rarely shows promise there. He even plays better at LM (VS Frankfurt) than at RM

His finishing touch, positioning, killer instinct and creativity will be wasted on the flanks.

Thomas Mueller's best position is SS. And Van Gaal's experiment of playing him at different attacking positions(has been used as RM, LM, AM, SS) is hurting his development. Players need to play consistently at one position so as to adapt and develop, and i think this is a BIG reason why Lahm and Schweini cant develop further.

    Whatever u guys think

I still think it is no good to a player's development if he's used at different positions every game.

Just like Lahm, he would be world's top LB if he hasn't been used as RB alternatively; same goes to Schweinsteiger, he could be a top CM in the league if he hasn't been used as RM and LM.

Van Gaal shouldn't take advantage of Thomas Mueller's versatility and play him at RM/LM/AM/SS every other week.

Thomas Mueller, as every other youngster, needs stability and that will only be good for his development.

So Squid and F96, which do u think is Mueller's best position then? No matter where that is, i hope Van Gaal will only play him there, at one position, week-in/week-out.........

You'd rather see him on the bench? If it weren't for van Gaal, Müller would still play for the reserve team. His biggest strength is his versatility so he is and will be used as a utility player. Stop overhyping him, he has a good work ethic and is a down to earth guy, but he isn't anywhere close to Özil or Kroos in terms of talent.

rofl. The guy is 25. He isn't, has never and will never be a top player.
