Excellent career, but all good things Come to an end, time to move on and I think the next generation is ready to step up, it's the generation after the next where the cupboard looks bare

 

naw, their is plenty of talent in Germany, not sure why you think their isn't much.

besides people need to realize that even senior NT, you end up with tops 4 players from an age group and some age groups it's barely 1 player.

you know for example between a 98 and 00 for example that's not an age gap. Or 01 to 03-onwards, not an age gap, 1 bad age group here and there doesn't mean much.

and even from bad age groups one still finds some players that make it for real. People always trash the 97 age group as being terrible yet that age group still has a 2-3 players (including F.Muller, GK) who could make the seniors.

 

besides once those bums at the dfb and the clubs update their training methods that's less systematic, should help tremendously the younger generations develop even more.
