I think he can be the striker we need. I'd give kiessling a go (if he can finally find his balls and the net), and klose if he wants to stick around but Mueller is my pick to be the longer term guy.

That way a space is opened up at AM and we have lots of players coming through

You can marry with 16 in Germany. In some US states you can actually marry at an even younger age.

It's 16 including East Germany (without East Germany it would be less than 16).

Do you need your parents' permission to marry being underage...?.

I want to join in :D. He is just fantastic. I've been impressed. I actually can't wait to see them all play in the Bundesliga (which I intend to see now... was getting bored with the Premier League anyway, lol, felt rather uninterested in it last season).

No - however, if you are under 18 you need court approval (and only one of the two partners can be a minor).

Originally the reason was to make it possible for a pregnant girl to marry before they were 18 (until the 1970s only women could marry with 16).

I saw this today and HAD to get it. Those of you in Germany I bought it at an Intersport store.

He's the shizzle, and my NT jersey will have his name mounted on it.

I would think that his debut WC accomplishments alone are quite a good start, then consider his freshman year with the Bayern senior team.

    He's no "ballboy" these days

Those of you that really understand German... it's a play on the name

I don't buy many shirts and other memorabilia at all. Just a personal thing.

I have the EM1980 windbreaker, because it looks pretty cool, the WM90 trikot as it's from the first tournament I watched, the one from 4 years later with Sammer on the back, and the 1997 BvB trikot.

What is with that "ballboy" thing?. Isn't that from tennis?.
I've seen the press conference video and I don't hear Maradonna call him anything that could be translated as "ballboy"...

Fantastic & almost incredible achievement (congrats) ... who'd have expected this ahead of the WC?

This smart, likeable & cool guy still needs learning how to play crossballs :p ... but his 'goal scoring instinct' is impressive, isn't it?

Well, I'd rather not become a walking advertisement for adidas, nike, umbro or whatever other company decides to come up with "commemoration" shirts at the drop of a name.

Anyway, I already have enough shirts in the wardrobe, that I don't use as it is :D

    Forlan 664 min.
    Villa 643 min.
    Sneijder 652 min.
