Most of you probably have noticed that I do not usually start threads but I decided to make this its own because I want to keep discussions about this coach out of the "Rumors/wishfull thinking" thread. DF please move this if you feel it is necessary.

I have been a big fan of his teams' playing style for the past couple of seasons. Even this year's Dortmund side plays some very attractive 1-touch football. I think that he may be a good choice in the future to coach Bayern (after Hitzfeld's contract is up).

One of the things that has always bothered me about Hitzfeld's teams is that they rarely play effective, flowing football. If you look at the combination play that Doll, or Loew use it would be very effective with our squad.

I don't know if it would be possible to get him (or if we really would want to) or not but it I want to know what other Bayern fans think of him.

I'm not his biggest fan but I appreciate what he did with HSV that one season and the good he has brought to Dortmund. However I don't know if he would have what it takes, yet, to bring Bayern the much saught success they want in Europe.

Speaking of coaches, I am a huge fan of Slaven Bilic, Croatia's NT coach. He is young and hasn't coached much but his philosophy and approach is similar to that of Klinsmann and he has done a fantastic job with Croatia.

That sums it up nicely. I'd rather have freaking Loddar.

He was a great player back in the days, but I don't rate him at all as a coach.

lol, how amusing.. someone suggesting Doll as Bayern coach. While we're at it, lets get Wörns on board too.

Mh, he nearly got delegated with a team that has been in the Bundesliga for over 40 years, and now he is getting booed by his own fans.
    No thanks.

I agree with this 100%. If we can't get Klinsmann, this guy would be alternate but very similar coach.

Honestly I rather that stupid Bayern mascot to manage this team instead of Doll. He's useless and tactically inept.

    Me three...:D

Keith, this thread has your name ALL over it!!!

    But my two cents;

Doll is weak and I believe will get manhandled by the big names (Sagnol is now staying at Bayern, starting & playing the full 90 minutes- because he says so).

He does not do much for younger players and their development (Kroos; welcome to SC Paderborn 07).

If he gets into a pissing match with a player, the players gets benched or goes to the reserves when he should clearly be in the starting line up (Klose, welcome to Bayern II)...

That said, he is a company man and does what the powers that be tell him too (Uli; I thought I told you to buy me the extra soft toilet paper, not this crap that feels like sand paper!!)

Yes, some great results for BvB (we are still mid table) but give the players most of the credit in this situation for some spectacular performances.

I'm not really sure what he'll say, but I am personally dissapointed in Dortmund. They have potential to play much better and be higher in the rankings than they currently are. At least, that's how I see it..

Isn't Doll the dude that has nearly twice as many pock-marks as Schweinsteiger?

    Now about the hair...

No one likes to fight relegation, I just said what I thought. Maybe if you took that stick out of your ass and stop being uptight, it would turn to a normal conversation.
