tifosi [AT] asroma.it is supposedly the contact email for Roma fans to communicate with the club. I've emailed 3 times. No response twice.
1st email: correction to squad number of Stek. They responded with thanks. 2nd email: picture of Lamela wearing the AC Milan jacket. (Yeah I snitched so what, we spent 15 million on him and pay his wages. He owns a home and drives an Audi. He should be accountable). 3rd email (today): two words, simply "perché Borini?". I thought about getting more uncivil, but chances are the guy/girl that reads these emails doesn't deserve the hatred and no one at the top will ever see what I right. So I just sewed a seed of doubt.
I doubt that, why comb this board? It's relatively small, why not some of the local boards. ** but in case you are reading give me a job and 5 years and I will build you a dynasty **
They're trying to get into the American market and there's only a handful of Roma forums are English speaking????? Come on, you're a moderator, give your place some more credit.
There's some good ideas and opinions on this board, if they used some of our idea's we wouldn't be in this stupid transfer market situation!
There is no American market. I hate to say it and I don't say it to be mean but that is the reality. It is minor and insignificant. The only way to capture the American market is to become a Barcelona and win everything. Then people will buy your jerseys because of your reputation. What can be gained from a market where the world most popular sport is what 5th place? Summer tours a sympathy player like Park at United. Just specks in the wind. The biggest potential for growth for Roma is in Europe, where football is the sport. And more importantly than that Italy and Rome. Theat's where their focus should be.
Couldn't agree more. I'm just saying that's what THEY are trying to do/establish. Its unequivocal. A lot of the big suits are using social media monitoring, and with what we've seen them do with FB, YT, and Twitter, I just feel one shouldn't put it past them to keep tabs on English speaking fan forums. Its not exactly a full-time job either.
I wouldn't put it past them, but let's consider what phase of the game we are in. These guys arrived a year ago I think they would still be orientating themselves with the reality on the ground floor. I also have to say these guys are not very active. The people running the club are Baldini, Sabatini, and Fenucci. Pallota, Di Benedetto, and Tacopina do absolutely nothing. They are just money men. Pallotta has a couple of his guys working marketing but they also work for Raptor and are clearly not full time on Roma. Roma is just an investment to these people, one of many. Not an obsession.
Speaking of social media, I don't think there is any club that is really making full use of it. Everyone has their little accounts, but that's the minimum. Shows no vision or real understanding of the technology. It's all from the point of view of a marketer. I'll give you a hint, the way Spotify uses Facebook in their software. That's how you use social media, anything else is just time wasting.
Yeah, clubs could have offical podcasts and get a different player on each week. Stuff like that is almost totally untapped so far.
sometimes i dream, i wish one billionaire bought this club which is a fan of Roma, a real fan that doesnt want to make money on this club but make it a nice team and enjoy its game
We got denied not one but two billionaires by the Sensi family. First Kermikov and then Soros. Kermikov is the guy that brought Et'o to Russia, just to put it into perspective.
