After the depressing draw at Leicester this weekend, I was casting my mind back at the last couple of seasons to remember how we were doing at this time. Traditionally, of course, Novemeber has been a terrible month for us. A similarly depressing draw at Spuds 2 seasons ago comes to mind. In that game, Richard Wright fumbled the ball into the net deep in injury time to throw away a great win at WHL. Last season, we lost away to Southampton. Here is how we looked in the past 2 seasons at this point:

Season Pl Pts For Against Pos
    03-04 15 35 29 11 2
    02-03 15 32 33 16 1
    01-02 15 29 33 17 2

I was surprised by how well we are doing compared to where we usually are this time of year. The big difference this season is that others have also done well, notably ManU. They had very slow starts the last 2 seasons, but not this year.
