First the game isnt shown on tv or mlsnet, than the highlights are also not shown on mlsnet and then, the argentinien soccer game runs on too long cutting off the dc united part of mls wrap sigh, will I never get to see part of this game?
You didn't miss anything (on MLS Wrap). I caught the DC part last night. All they showed was Moreno's goal which is the same clip they used for the Goal of the Week nominees. Weenie and Harksy ran off at the mouth as usual, but I don't recall any earth shattering comments from them about the game. -dave
When I see people complain about bad or no soccer coverage in the US, all I can think of as a response is: SHUT THE HELL UP!
I think Jaime's goal was just about all the footage they had to show, I haven't seen anything else anywhere.
Highlights you missed: (1) Olsen limping off with an injury, (2) Rimando making a save on a hard first-half shot from 12 yards out from the corner of the penalty area, (3) Stewart's blistering shot hit Cerritos on the back of the head and carromed over the bar, (4) Gutierez's shot that hit the bar, (5) Nelson going off with a groin injurty, and (6) Moreno's goal. Other honorable mentions include a nice cross from Adu and Eskandarian at various times playing very physically and with a lot of hustle to get and keep balls. Other than the two items above, KC's highlights consisted of Tony Meola's quick kicks trying to start counter attacks that never amounted to anything.
