The Neptunes are the f00king shite!! Just say the new Snoop video in Brasil and both the video and song kick ass. I can't beleive how many songs the Neptunes have been making latetly, its like they don't even stop to eat or sleep. Every other week theres a new song with them on it and Pharell's trucker hat head in the video. I gotta say tho that I can now spot a Neptunes produced song a mile away. And their sound is starting to wear, but they still got enough catchy sounds to keep me bouncing.
This is how I feel about the Neptunes - it pisses me off that pretty much every song on the radio is a Neptunes song. I'm a guy that likes variety. But if it weren't for the Neptunes, I wouldn't be able to listen to the radio because of the amount of total crapola out there. Plus, they make Justin Timberlake actually okay to listen to. BTW, my favorite Neptunes track will always be ODB's "Got Your Money".
100% agreement Can't agree more with both of you, the Neptunes are amazing. Also, if you didn't already know it, in the new NIKE basketball commercial, The Battle, the music was produced by them as well. If you like the track you can download it from the Nike website.
I'm convinced you could make the best contemporary party mix CD by just using Neptunes songs of the past couple of years. No coincidence that two of Snoop's best songs on the new CD are produced by them (what song was the video?) Dude, you can't beat the line, "This dedicated to all the ugly girls too...cause to me you pretty anyway!"
