Makes me not want to visit it anymore. And of course, every single person I talked to absolutely hates it as well, 100% without a doubt. It is probably the ugliest thing I have ever seen on the internet. And I spend a lot of time on the internet. The avatars look like they were drawn in paint.... why is the file size so low? Got rid of the useful features like multi-quote, etc, and instead I get 20 million alerts that could easily be avoided. Don't even get me started about how this works on mobile phones.
Drake, thank you for you input. Many of the issues you addressed have already been discussed in the various Bugs/Suggestions threads on the main part of Customer Service (most recent B/S thread - https://www.bigsoccer.com/community/threads/updates-and-bugs-5-22.1944716/). That said, here are two quick bits of info. Multi-quote is an on going issue (one that I raised from the beginning) and seems to be linked with another issue. It is currently being worked on. (and the issue is not with Multi-quoting, but doing it on multiple pages.) The other issue is the alerts. I have two options: 1) Mouse over the Alerts box, and select "alert preferences" on the lower right of that box. On the next page, uncheck all those you don't want. 2) Mouse over your usename and select the option that says "alert preferences." On the next page, uncheck all those you don't want. Hope this is helpful.
Thanks for the feedback, it is good to hear that they are being addressed. I talked to my local moderator and he was not quite as optimistic.
That'd be me and my comments where simply that I also have issues with the new software and layout, like everyone and that "they" are still working on things.
Does not your browser have such a function built-in? Google (or your favorite search engine) should also help just by typing the word in. I'm not saying that's the answer you're looking for, but it's better than nothing.
I am getting a msg on the top of my screen saying; Your browser is out of date; click here. When I do, it take me to this page; http://abetterbrowser.org/ I am using IE9, not IE 6 as it states - so how do I get rid of this msg? To me, this is an ad.
Cris 09 Do you have version set compatibility mode in IE's dev tools, which (for various reasons, good/bad) pretends that IE 9 is IE 6 in the user-agent?
