Am I the only one to see this commercial and be confused by the line... "in England, Arsenal chase a historic double." Huh? I know they record these spots in advance, but Man Utd beat the Arse back on April 3rd. And it wouldn't be hard to change it to "...Arsenal try to go unbeaten" or something else.
I believe the 'historic double' being referred to is that of the title and the unbeaten season...given that an unbeaten season is in itself a feat never before achieved. Just my interpretation.
This one had me doing a rewind on Tivo the first time, just so I could be sure I heard what I thought I'd heard. Then I thought that maybe the voice-over had been recorded prior to Arsenal losing in the FA Cup, but just seconds laster they mention ManU in the FA Cup final, so either the spot was produced between the FA Cup semi loss and the CL QF loss, or FSW just did a poor job of editing their copy.
