Seriously guys, get a grip. I hate to admit it, we lost. It may not have been fair and square, (messed calls for both sides) but I'd like to believe that we lost because we just didn't play well enough, but gave it our all.

Our players weren't paid to lose, the refs not paid to fvck us over. We lost to an even shittier team, that's all there is to it.

Let's try to save some face for the 24th, alright?

I'm a neutral fan...I love the whole league as a whole...but your wrong, yes the league is fixed...Revolution were handed everything...in the past MLS has tried this with the metros and other teams but it hasn't always worked out, and it seemed like it backfired again this season until the late run...but now that the revs are in, what is to stop MLS from doing this every season? And you know Columbus will never get a break, LA won't either anymore I don't believe, Colorado won't, DC might even though they never have gotten any help...Any teams that are actually profitable or actually had a good side that could compete internationally will get torn apart...Metros just have bad luck so MLS won't be able to put them in next season...LA has the cup so it will be LA and DC...cuz the league now feels its about time they hand DC something, and since they have been crap for 3 years and their attedance is falling they will give them a bunch of players and give them all the calls and let them get in..

    The league is not fixed.

The ball is round and the game lasts (at least) ninety minutes. The team that scores more, wins.

Poor officiating didn't cause the Revolution's first, second, or third goal of the series. Unfortunately poor man marking did.

Bad calls go both ways, the team that adjusts better wins. Today that wasn't us.

It has been an entertaining playoff series. The Revs deserved the victories over the Fire and Crew.

Next year can we go to home/away aggregate goals though? It would be nice to know when the games are scheduled -- more than 3 days ahead.

    you have to shoot.

Sitting behind the goal in the first half in the third and decisive game, the one thing I noticed was that the crew took few opportunities to take a shot thru what was a maze of players.

All the years I have played and coached our mantra has been, if you don't shoot you don't score. I was shocked that more shots weren't taken from the 18, a deflected goal is still a goal.

By the way Jeff Cunningham was a major disappointment! Buddle has his spot for next year.
