Well he is the right age that we seem to pursue. Would be reminiscent of when we signed Jota who I barely knew anything about either back then.

 

I like Joao Pedro and perhaps he's a better fit for Slot's system, but for a mooted price tag beyond what we paid for Nunez, we wouldn't be getting a prolific goal scorer by any means.

 

I've seen bits of his play and he looks like the kind of CF Slot maybe interested in. Fast, clever, good engine. reviews seem good also.

 

From what I've been reading he's not just a striker but often plays behind the main striker in this case Wellbeck but actually can play anywhere across the front line.

I've seen him described as being in the Firmino style which I think would make him a good fit.

I'm sure Brighton will not let him go cheaply tho.

 

Price tag the primary issue for me. 80M+ for a link up player? Just go get Osimhen if you are willing to pay that much.
